Cycle Folsom has experienced explosive growth over the past year. This is largely due to our diverse membership, which includes newcomers who are just learning how to ride in groups, seasoned cyclists who've ridden for years, and even racers.

Basic Membership is Free
We want to make Cycle Folsom as accessible as possible. Therefore, Basic Membership is free. Our only requirement is that you submit a signed application and liability waiver before gaining full access to our Meetup site, or joining any of our rides. Those who live out of the area or even the state are also welcome to join our rides after submitting a signed liability waiver.

Show Your Support with a Premium Membership
Cycle Folsom is an all volunteer effort, and there are costs associated with running it. That includes our Meetup site, web hosting, e-mail newsletter, and web development. For those who want to show their support for CF and help offset these costs, we offer a Premium Membership. We're working to gain sponsors who will extend discounts to our Premium Members. As an example, Folsom Bike extends a 10% discount to Cycle Folsom Premium Members on anything in the store, excluding service and classes. Members are required to present their Cycle Folsom membership card at time of purchase. We hope to add more sponsors soon.

How Do You Join Cycle Folsom?
We want to ensure a positive experience for our members. Therefore, we ask that you do a few things:

1. Read the description of our Groups. This will ensure that you know what you're getting into, and can help align expectations.
2. Download and submit a signed Membership Application and Liability Waiver (link below). You're responsible for your own safety while riding.
3. Use the "Join Us" button at the top right of the screen of our Meetup.com/CycleFolsom site. (We use Meetup.com to manage membership, calendars, events, RSVP's, member communications, forums and more).

We'll approve your Meetup site request as quickly as possible after you've submitted a signed Membership Application and Liability Waiver.

A Few Words about Privacy
We hate spam as much as you do. We do not share your information or give it to our sponsors. As a Meetup member, you can control the types of communications you receive from our group in your Meetup account settings (learn more). You are free to discontinue your membership at any time by leaving the Meetup Group (learn more). We'll be bummed that you left, but we won't follow or contact you. If you do decide to leave the group, we hope you'll provide us with any feedback that would help us improve the Group before you go.
